Martin Brejl Borup
Germanic & Analytic Philosophy Scholar from University of Southern Denmark
Martin Brejl Borup is a graduated BPhil from The University of Southern Denmark. His main philosophical interests are a cross section of the Germanic and the analytical tradition, with a main focus on Phenomenology. While his central focus lies in formal and foundational questions, he takes seriously the imperative to philosophically address concrete socio-political realities. His chapter in this volume - co-written with Bjørn Rindbæk Larsen - reflects that orientation: it explores civil disobedience not merely as an act, but as a necessary, communicative tool in the political framework; as a just measure in an unjust state.
